Project Overview
RRP provided engineering and design services to address the utility conflicts and ensure the operation of the sewer system within Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) rules and regulations applicable for sewer systems. A detailed drainage study was done, regrading roadside ditches, replacement of the existing culvert crossings with elliptical culverts to maximize the efficiency of the proposed ditches and smoothly tie in the driveways. As well as proposing new outfall/detention channel. During the preliminary review of the existing design constraints, it has been observed that the most effective solution is to provide a 60,000 gallons per day capacity lift station at the corner of Old Needville-Fairchild Rd. and Stephen St. The lift station will address the elevation constraints and conflicts with other proposed improvements.
